South Carolina Roots! arles Graham (1798-1872) and Nancy (1803 -1866). Bridget was the 8th child of Charles Graham (1798-1872) and Nancy (1803 -1866). 

We trace our history back to Edgefield, Saluda County, and Johnston, SC to these common ancestors:

 Bridget's parents were Charles and Nancy. Bridget married Wesley Mack Jay, and they lived in the Pen Creek area of Edgefield County, SC. 

 

 The Jay sisters, Savannah, Alice, and Regina Jay, were born between 1861 and 1872.  They married local hardworking men.   Click the links below to learn more.

Today, our extended family includes over 600 individuals spanning eight generations of educators, entrepreneurs, healthcare professionals, lawyers, skilled tradespeople, union workers, civil servants, and retirees. We are faith leaders, community activists, sorors and frat brothers, TikTokers, and social media influencers!

 

We are the we-support-everything-Black folks, as well as the sweet tea, and don’t try me folks!  You are one of us, and we are glad to see you here, Cuz.
